Move over skinny jeans! Flared jeans are back and more popular than ever. This 70’s jeans, typical because of it’s wide leg, comes in a wide range of styles. High waist or low on the hips, bell bottom or flare; just pick your favourite!
After Kuyichi launched the successful high waist bell bottom Christy and the high waist flare Farra earlier this year, we now introduce the Lisette, a low waist bell bottom jeans, made out of a 100% organic cotton. The Lisette is available in two different washings: Super blu, a vintage, worn-in look, and a light blue powder blu. Check out the complete denim collection at the Pure Denim page!
Both a Broadcasting Network and Foundation, the Dutch company LLink aims for a fair, free and sustainable world.
To keep on doing so, LLink needs to have at least 150.000 members to stay functioning. That’s why they’ve organised a competition: to make a short video that points out an environmental problem or offering solutions how to solve one!
From all entries, the best five videos are chosen and until the 20th of November you will be able to vote and pick your favourite one. By doing so, you automatically will become a LLink member and help them keep existing. The video which ends up with the most votes, will receive a €75.000 reward that enables you to realize the proposed initiative.
Have we made you curious? Check out the other four videos here. Pick your favourite & VOTE!
At the end: you’re the change you would like to see in the world!
From the 10th of October until the 18th MADE-BY organises the Dutch Week van de Duurzame Mode (Week of Sustainable Fashion). The kick off is today with the International MADE-BY Network Event in Amsterdam. Fashion brands and organizations will talk here about how to stimulate the production of organic clothes. During this week shops put their green collections in the spotlight. Red Light Fashion designers share their conscious thoughts with you and several events are planned through the country.
MADE-BY is an umbrella label that links organic producers with fashion brands, including Kuyichi. The label’s main idea is that people and planet deserve a lot more respect and that both working and environmental conditions in the fashion industry need to be improved. One of their goals is to make more people aware of the possibility to buy clean, organic clothes.

As posted recently, the two very cool chicas from KAREL&SJAAK had made a Style_Conscious bet for their Lowlands festival visit: “To celebrate and party hard in the most (style)conscious way possible for 24hours long”.
It all happened last weekend and they have sent us the result via imagery of their style_conscious acts and fulfilling the assignment succesfully.
All dressed in Kuyichi they have had the best times of their lives and Kuyichi is proud to have them as friends, since they’ve done a excellent job.
Hooray for the both of them & please read their experiences and have a look at the great imagery they’ve shot!
Many thanks again KAREL&SJAAK and Lowlands… we will definitely cu again next year!
