"Now, I know models don’t have the reputation of being the brightest bulbs in the chandelier, but this is pushing it. During the Milan Fashion Week, I had to do something I have done before, but which has never stopped amazing me: I had to go to Milan to practice a fashion show. Placing one foot in front of the other, commonly known as walking, in a straight line until the end is reached (the end is signaled by a wall of cameras pointing at you like you just got targeted by 200 snipers who didn’t hide that well), which is the point where you turn around and retrace your steps. Graphic designer Haik Avanian has an ingenious project. Teaming up with his mum, Haik asks people to send in old sweaters and his mum will reknit them into smaller accessories. How cool is that! So, if you have an old sweater that you think would make, for instance, a particularly natty hat, feel free to send it over to ReKnit. But, like Haik says himself: "because i only have one mom", they have decided to limit the orders to the first 30.
