Kuyichi

After more than 10 years Kuyichi has moved to a new HQ office and we are very happy with it. Enough reasons for Textilia to write a nice article about it!

Last autumn Kuyichi met with Jonathan Jeremiah in Haarlem at the Nukuhiva shop to show him some of our stuff, and guess what he liked it! He went back to the UK with three bags full of Kuyichi clothes. One of the items he picked out directly was the Kuyichi Duffle coat. Just before the release of his latest video clip he send us an email to  let us know he’s really happy with the coat that kept him warm during the last couple of cold winter days.

It’s official! The 2nd edition of the Green Film Making competition started yesterday. An initiative from Strawberries Earth to challenge filmmakers to work sustainably and make the filmindustry more green. Internationally beloved dutch actress Thekla Reuten (the chairwoman of the jury) will be the ambassador of this competition!

The Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, the DOEN Foundation and ASN Bank are supporting the Green Film Making Competition.

Last year the title of Green Film Maker of the Year 2012 went to Trent from NFI Productions who together with Anielle Webster produced the film LEVEN.

The competition films will premiere at the Dutch Film Festival (25-09 t/m 04-10) in Utrecht.
