Therefore they sailed around the world on a limited budget, as sustainable as possible over a period of just under two years The Green Miles is collaborating with various prominent development organizations in the field of climate change and the protection of the oceans. Hereby an impression of their amazing trip!

Kuyichi started last April with the instore event: 'Buy a pair of Kuyichi jeans, end up in Peru! Everybody who bought a Kuyichi jeans had the chance to visit Peru in October. The event was a succes and the 6 lucky winners left last Saturday for their trip! We keep you updated with all their great stories.

Hereby un update on our Green Miles travellers Florian Dirkse en Arjen van Eijk! In December 2008 the adventurous documentary makers started their sailing trip to create awareness among the general public for the problems of our oceans. In addition, The Green Miles wants to inspire people to interact with the world and the oceans in a green way. The crew of The Green Miles sails therefore around the world on a limited budget and as sustainable as possible over a period of two years. And it’s going very well! The boys just arrived in Tonga, an archipelago in the South Pacific Ocean. National Geographic showed interest in their documentary so good news for their green message!

As Kuyichi HQ is located in the green Dutch town of Haarlem, most of our employees come around by bike.

Now for the hardcore-bikers, there's the dual bike JANO, a bicycle built for lively and spirited biking, for fitness or simply for the daily ride to the office.

Austrian desgin student Roland Kaufmann, built this plywooden designer bike, inspired on his love for wooden kayaks!

In Holland, we all know the first bikes we're built from wood. Since then, most are made of steel nowadays. The funnier, to see a foreigner that reintroduces this recycle-wood solution for such an elemental thing as the bike.
