Support Earth Hour!

Billions of citizens from more than 130 countries are expected to turn off their lights on this Saturday for the Earth Hour 2011. This global event, organized by environment group World Wildlife Fund (WWF), was first started in Sydney of Australia in 2007 with 2.2 million Australians taking part to turn off their lights in aid of the environment. By 2009, up to 1 billion citizens across the world had taken part. On Saturday 27 March, Earth Hour 2010 became the biggest Earth Hour ever, 128 countries and territories joined the global display of climate action. Miranda Kerr has been named the global ambassador for Earth Hour 2011. Earth Hour 2011 will take place on Saturday 26 March at 8.30PM (local time). Join!

Food Film Festival

'Food is culture, food is identity'. The Food Film Festival is about everything related to food: Food in its broadest sense. There is so much to say about food and food says so much about us. During this festival more than 20 food films and documentaries will be screened, together with an extensive program with debates, workshops, art and music. Reverse graffiti

Brazilian artist Alexandre Orion turned a São Paulo transport tunnel into a kind of graphic charnel house, lined with skulls. He created the images "by selectively scraping off layers of black soot deposited on those walls in the short life of this orifice of modernity." Cleaning to create art (reverse graffiti) we like the attitude...Britisch artist Moose is also a well known reverse graffiti artist.
