Since it's a trend for magazines to feature a GREEN ISSUE at least once a year, the trend has hit the Dutch news stands this month as well!
The Dutch edition of ELLE magazine presented it's already second annual green issue. A conscious issue that guides its readers to the green side of life.
ELLE's way to show green & glossy; a great team it is! “we share one planet, and one responsibilityâ€.
And in any green lifestyle-guide Kuyichi's denim can't be missed. Although we have had numerous covering articles in ELLE- & alike magazines so far, this time our presence is set primarily to a showcase of our collections.
You'll find them throughout the various photo shoots inside the magazine. Not just for our contemporary styling, ELLE's stylists know their ways to our showroom very well!
YOI :: Your Own Identity
Another nice article, is the revealing interview with the Dutch princess of the “Hiphonest® Lifestyleâ€!
Annouk Post, founder of the conscious aware YOI Foundation that promotes the Hiphonest lifestyle.
She tells us about her decisions to start living the eco-luxury lifestyle. While we get an inside view of what intimate and eco-fashion treasures her wardrobe closet reveals. It's clear she's an expert, while she informs us about her favourites in eco-luxury.
When asked for her motivation to start living the Hiphonest lifestyle, she tells it was the story behind Kuyichi, that inspired her to set up the YOI foundation!
Instead of leaving the industry behind because of the unfair circumstances, she decided -like Kuyichi- to make the difference herself, by giving the good example & spreading positivism! YOI means GOOD in Kanji Chinese.
Furthermore, ELLE's green issue is all about eco awareness & health for the environment.
