It's time for the Amsterdam Week of Sustainability!

Sustainability is Hot.
Every one keeps talking about it, and now the buzz has reached one of the world's most innovative capitals in social & environmental progression, the first Amsterdam Week of Sustainability is here!

This Saturday June 2nd, the Amsterdam City Council launches one week of celebrating projects and organisations that are making a real contribution to creating a more sustainable Amsterdam. An ongoing list of events and activities will show off practical & fun ways to live life, the Sustainable way!

Inspired by the similar Love London project, the overwhelming program is stuffed with over 80 events and activities, taking place throughout the city centre of Amsterdam.

From workshops to demonstrations and symposia to games and markets. It's all there. Such as a solar power boat race, a clothing exchange party or how about the launch of the innovative manner of video conferencing, cutting-down CO2 emissions, since Amsterdam's busy business people can now fly less!

Furthermore, Amsterdam city will be packed with all kinds of shops, from now on selling a wide range of durable products!

Be sure not to miss anything, so hop on the Fuel Cell Busses (yes, that's an electric bus car!), provided by the city's public GVB transporters!
