Great news! Sportswear International nominated Kuyichi for the SIFA Award in the category best fashion. Since 2000, Sportswear International has presented its SIFAs (Sportswear International Fashion Awards) to worthy winners each year. Every year the international editorial staff names its favorite brands in six categories. We'll keep you updated when you can start voting!
Together with Eduardo Sousa, the man behind the famous interior of LokalHeroz in Rotterdam, LokalHeroz organizes an OFF-SITE event at Riverfront (Piekstraat, Rotterdam). This takes place during the 100% DESIGN fair at the Van Nelle factory on June 11, 12 and 13.
Next to a trendy collection of art, designer furniture, fashion and designer products, LokalHeroz represents their own OFF-SITE shop on this spectaculair location. Of course, Kuyichi is one of the participants!

Strawberry Earth presents the first Dutch environmental film festival: Strawberry Earth at the Movies! Twelve of the latest and best films with an environmental theme are shown on June 5 and 6.
Several (world) premieres, Q&As with international directors and an after party with awesome DJs make the event complete. This all takes place at The Ketelhuis cinema in Amsterdam.
Strawberry Earth at the Movies will be opened by minister Jacqueline Cramer and alderman Marijke Vos on the 5th of June - World Environmental Day. French movie HOME - by director and photographer Yann Arthus-Betrand and Luc Besson - will have its world premiere this night. Next to that, the curators bring the English hit The Age of Stupid and its director Franny Armstrong to The Ketelhuis.
All Strawberry Earth events contribute directly to a greener world. The Ketelhuis save up 100% of the festival's profit to make their cinema eco-friendlier. Besides that, they also donate their savings on the energy bill to Greenpeace - for the next ten years! Of course, Kuyichi will be there to support this great event. You can check out movie trailers in the Kuyichi Van on the 6th of June.

From the 4th till the 28th of June the seventh Love London Green Festival will take place. It's already the largest annual green festival in the world and keeps getting bigger and bigger. This year you can visit over a hundred (mainly free) eco events throughout the city. Goal? Encouraging Londoners to share ideas and celebrate sustainable innovations to make their city greener.
The event kicks off with a Recycled Sculpture Show, which features artwork made from recycled materials. And what about an Eco Design Fair, Eco Rally or Swap till you drop- clothes swap? London's mayor Boris Johnson already promised to green-up his city by planting 10,000 trees and promote using your bicycle!
The second edition of the Show You Are Aware Show will take place tonight, organised by Meubel Stukken, House of Orange and the Aids Fund. Kuyichi and some of the best Dutch designers (Marlies Dekkers, Mada van Gaans, Jan Taminiau, Bas Kosters and many more) have been asked to create a red outfit inspired by love, tolerance and friendship. DJ's Joost van Bellen, Mevr. Bloesjevol & Mr. Broekjevol, Lupe and Bin will be in charge of the best party tunes after the show.
