KUYICHI

As posted recently, the two very cool chicas from KAREL&SJAAK had made a Style_Conscious bet for their Lowlands festival visit: “To celebrate and party hard in the most (style)conscious way possible for 24hours long”.

It all happened last weekend and they have sent us the result via imagery of their style_conscious acts and fulfilling the assignment succesfully.
All dressed in Kuyichi they have had the best times of their lives and Kuyichi is proud to have them as friends, since they’ve done a excellent job.

One of the most recognized festivals in the Netherlands and next to Roskilde in Denmark, Pukkelpop in Belgium, maybe even similar popular in Europe, but Lowlands has kicked off today!!!

During this 3 day event major artist from all over the world, such as N.E.R.D, Jamie Lidell, Digitalism, Underworld, Franz Ferdinand & other are taking on the stage.

Our friends KAREL&SJAAK are ofcourse part of it (which party not?!) and for this years edition they’ve taken on the Kuyichi spirit and have made a bet:

“To celebrate and party hard in the most (style)conscious way 24hours long!” 

                                                      
The challenge for the two good-looking and charming ladies will therefore be to act and live as conscious possible at Lowlands, from taking quick showers with clothes on to re-using beverage cans as money wallets, etc.

Kuyichi is curious how that will look & be like and whether they will succeed.

We wish them all the luck and we will soon get back to you with the outcome and some stunning footage of their Style_Conscious bet!

A worthwhile article has recently been published.

As part of the Dutch NGO Solidaridad, the article outline its activities in Islamic China. The hard work & energy to lift people out of poverty and danger wherever they work or live.

The presented paper talks about the project with the objective to improve the social and environmental standards of the supply chain for cotton to the Netherlands.

July & August are busy months, where many fashion fairs are organized for brands to show their new collections. KUYICHI as well kicked off, showed and presented their new Spring/Summer 2009 collection and beautiful range of innovative and refreshing denim.

And not unnoticed… the press picked up on it!

Same as previous years, Kuyichi will be sponsoring the Veranda Sessions at beach club Timboektoe at Wijk Aan Zee, The Netherlands.

Every Sunday, from May until the end of September, the Kuyichi Veranda Sessions can be visited, where acoustic bands from all over the world will perform all afternoon.

This year though, we will make sure you will get to Timboektoe easily, hereby introducing the Kuyichi Van. The Kuyichi van will be the ultimate experience, which will be the warmup for the Veranda Sessions. You will be treated with drinks and music and there’s even the possibility to sing along with a Karaoke set.
